Pawsitively 4 Pink provides financial assistance for low-income, underserved women diagnosed with breast cancer. Eligible women can apply once a year and the amount of the grant is determined by the funds available. (Please note that we do not provide direct monetary assistance to applicants. Payments go directly to landlords, utility companies, and other service providers.)

Yes. Rent and mortgage assistance for cancer patients is one of the most common ways we help. A breast cancer diagnosis often means time away from work, and housing is usually the biggest bill a family faces. Pawsitively 4 Pink grants pay rent or mortgage directly to the landlord or mortgage company, so women in treatment can stay in their homes and focus on healing. There are many ways to get involved: make a donation, volunteer your time, attend one of our fundraising events, or become a corporate partner. Every dollar stays in Massachusetts and directly supports local women in treatment.

Your donation is direct breast cancer funding for women right here in Massachusetts. It helps underserved women diagnosed with breast cancer meet the basic needs of daily living: rent or mortgage, electric bills, heating oil, gas cards, and transportation fees. Many companies offer employer matching gift programs that can double your donation. If you would like your company to match your gift, reach out to your HR department and tell them you are interested in adding Pawsitively 4 Pink to the matching gifts program. Then request P4P’s official 501(c)(3) letter and an updated W-9 form by email at michelle@pawsitively4pink.com. If an email is supplied, these forms will be sent directly to your company, or you can print them and bring them to your HR department.

If you are looking for help for a breast cancer patient in Massachusetts, Pawsitively 4 Pink provides financial assistance grants to low-income women diagnosed with breast cancer anywhere in the state, covering rent, mortgage, utilities, heating oil, gas cards, and transportation. Apply through our Apply for Assistance page or ask your hospital social worker for a referral.
