What is the Power to Thrive Program?
The Power to Thrive Program is Pawsitively 4 Pink’s core financial assistance initiative designed to support low-income women diagnosed with breast cancer.
Cancer treatment often creates unexpected financial hardship. Many women must reduce work hours, take medical leave, or stop working entirely while managing treatment and recovery. At the same time, everyday expenses—housing, food, utilities, and transportation—continue to accumulate.
The Power to Thrive Program ensures that women facing breast cancer do not have to choose between healing and basic survival.
Through this program, Pawsitively 4 Pink provides financial assistance and support services that help women maintain stability during treatment and for up to six months after treatment ends. Because when basic needs are met, women can focus on what matters most: their health, their families, and their future.

When Bitadni was diagnosed with breast cancer, her life changed overnight. She and her husband had run an in-home daycare for nearly 18 years, caring for children in their community.
